Brand new apartment in the heart of canals and 20 meters from a Metro stop Porta Genova (green line) is small loft but perfectly for a short stay in the centre of Milan. It equipped with all the amenities: double bed, fitted kitchen, washing machine, air-conditioning and TV LCD 32 and FREE WI-FI Free wide bandThere is a storage available for our guests to leave their luggage in case of check-in /check-out early or late.

The space

Brand new apartment in the heart of the canals 20 meters from Metro Porta Genova (green line), located in a historic building with original exposed beams. It equipped with all the amenities. Bed (which disappears under the kitchen), equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, freezer), washing machine, air conditioning, 32 "LCD TV and WI-FI. Bathroom with large shower (color therapy) sink and toilet with integrated bidet . The internal exposure makes it quiet. All brand new linens, towels and available to the host.

Guest access

The apartment, despite being a few steps from the Navigli area and dock in the pedestrian area, remains fairly quiet due to its internal exposure but the proximity to local restaurants and make the pleasantly crowded area during the week end. There isn't a concierge .The entrance is located in the inner courtyard on the right and has no lift. It made a first flight of stairs you have to walk a "landing" inside then get to the second staircase. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor as well. Second door on the left.

The storage is next to the apartment.

Interaction with guests

We will meet you in person at your arrival to give you the keys, show you the apartment and recommend restaurants, bars or what you need!

I and my colleague Aldo we will be available for every need or problem.

Other things to note

For organizational issues We ask you to communicate your arrival times. We want to remind you that check in is possible from 14:00 to 22:00 at no extra cost. From 22:00 to 00:00 on there will be a surcharge of € 20. We usually cannot be accept requests for arrivals after this time so if you need write us before booking. Check in before 14:00 only on request and if possible will be a pleasure grant you.

Maximum respect for the House, but especially our and your neighbors during your stay. NOT shout, use heels, slamming the door or any other type of noise after 22.

Please remember to throw at your departure the rubbish in the appropriate bins in the backyard taking care to split the materials (plastic, paper, undifferentiated).

Please note, in addition, to wash the dishes and put them in the drawer.

The neighborhood

Domenica’s home is located in Milano, Lombardia, Italy.

The Navigli district of Milan named after the waterway system linking Lake Maggiore, Lake Como and the low Ticino. The construction of the whole system has ancient origins, which occurred between the twelfth and nineteenth centuries, and is one of the most fascinating and characteristic of Milan. Today the ancient system of canals there remain only three: the Canal Grande, Naviglio Pavese and Martesana. In recent years the Navigli Grande and Pavese have become the heart of Milan's fun, thanks to the presence of numerous nightclubs.

Today if you happen to walk on the towpath of the Naviglio Grande what you will encounter is a bustling neighborhood and a bit 'bohemian, made up of young fashionistas who invade its many bars and tourists on sunny days walking, right there where the old barges they were pulled by horses. Small restaurants alternate with ethnic markets and casual chic shops, while behind antique doors open flowered courtyards that make the Milanese canals a pleasant and relaxing walk even in summer. Just to explain the canals of Milan are certainly not the canals of Venice, however, give this corner of the city a unique atmosphere, very different from what you will find in the rest of Milan.
